The school will be closed for the Winter Break, December 23rd and will re-open January 5th 2025.
Calling All Three-Year Olds!Starting school is a big step for children and parents/guardians, and the Halton District School Board wants to make that transition as smooth as possible. The HDSB is welcoming future students and their families to a virtual Kindergarten experience at kindergarten.hdsb.ca to learn more about making the first school experience a happy one.
Three-year olds can explore a Kindergarten classroom to see what their future classroom might look like next September.
There are videos to watch, pictures to view and fun activities for kids.Parents/guardians can learn about the Kindergarten program at the HDSB, play-based learning, community resources in Halton and before-and-after school care.
Families can sign-up to receive a welcome package from the HDSB including a free children’s book.
To begin Kindergarten in September 2024, children must be four years old by Dec. 31, 2023 for Year 1 Kindergarten and must be five years old by Dec. 31, 2024 for Year 2 Kindergarten.
Registration for Kindergarten begins in January 2025

Halton Food for Thought (HFFT) is dedicated to feeding the success of our students, one healthy, happy student tummy at a time.
In partnership with the school boards and our community, HFFT is the sole provider of Student Nutrition Programs in schools across Halton Region.
Student Nutrition Programs include nutritious meals and snacks and are available before or during school hours at no cost. These programs are a safe and reliable source of healthy food and are open to all students in a school’s community from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Halton Food for Thought believes that through the provision of healthy food, every student has the best chance at success.
We want all children to reach their full potential and lead healthy, active lives.
